The Floyd County Bus Garage, designed to replace the facility damaged by fire in 2022, includes a modern garage area, offices, training rooms, mechanic workstations, and ample storage space. Constructed with resilience in mind, the garage is designed to handle the challenges of being located in a flood zone. The building is designed to be more durable in flooding conditions up to 3 feet, securing its ability to withstand potential flooding and continue serving the community for years to come.

An interesting aspect of this project is that the construction costs were fully covered by insurance, requiring collaboration with the insurance company throughout the design and construction process.
