Historic Memorial Coliseum hosting First and Second Rounds of NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament!
The University of Kentucky women’s basketball team is headed to the 2025 NCAA Championship Tournament. Not only were the Wildcats selected as a four seed in the tournament, but they will also host the First and Second Rounds in Historic Memorial Coliseum.
The games in Lexington will take place Friday March 21st and Sunday March 23rd, with the victor from Memorial moving on to the NCAA Sweet 16 in Spokane, Washington the following week.
Coach Kenny Brooks said, “Being on that four line, and being able to host, it means the world. It gives you a home court advantage and gives you an opportunity to advance. It’s very, very important.”
